"In the end, Captain America does not make the heroic sacrifice, thus further proving that Black Widow can handle the emotional weight of being a lead character. As if anyone could really forget the most quoted line in “The Avengers” — “I’ve got red in my ledger; I’d like to wipe it out” — it helps to have that line fresh in your mind when deconstructing what Widow does in the final act of what’s billed as a Captain America movie. Black Widow doesn’t wipe out the red in her ledger. No, she blasts her ledger out to the world, like it was the grisliest email forward of all time. We know from her heart to heart with Hawkeye that the shame she feels about what she’s done is real, and she hesitates when she realizes that taking down the bad guys means revealing her secrets. But she does it anyway, because she’s not just a spy anymore; she’s a super hero, and she makes a super hero’s sacrifice."

Trailer: ‘Jersey Boys' - June 20

Directed by Clint Eastwood, starring John Lloyd Young, Christopher Walken, Vincent Piazza, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda and Mike Doyle.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this. The movie could have gone way too far with the camp (as I think the show is a really campy musical), but by the trailer, it seems to be blending the right amounts of realism and fantasy. The breaking of the fourth wall looks pretty good on camera in fact. I’m definitely more interested than I was previously.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS. It looks like it’s going to be great.

Spotted: Blair Waldorf and her minions reunited at The Plaza Hotel. They may have all parted ways after graduation but they got back together for at least one night. Where was Serena van der Woodsen? That’s intel that only this insider knows.
XOXO,

These are great, and this one also happens to be almost my biggest pet peeve. Whether on the sidewalk or in the mall, get out of my fucking way. I can’t stand it when people amble.

so so so true.

I always considered this the adult-version of the Red Rover game, and take it upon myself to break through the line…
Don’t tell me I’m out-Yankee-ing the Yanks?

This makes me laugh. For reasons.

SO ANNOYING.

I love how the Ood is like ‘Dammit translator ball!’ and just hits it

This is why I really, really love the Ood.

Favorite Doctor Who scene.

The most misunderstood creatures in the fandom…

I love what Who did with the Angels and the Ood.

They’ve taken something that people would automatically want to trust, an angel, and made them creepy as fuck.

And they’ve taken a thing that people would automatically respond to the visual of with revulsion and fear, and made them the sweetest, most peaceful creatures in the universe.

If that’s not the best “looks can be deceiving” ever done I don’t know what is.

I guess you could say they’re misunderstOOD.

Are you secretly David Tennant? That sounds like a Tennant joke.

In every school, all over the world, in every class, there was always that person that was better than everyone else. You can hold on to the fact that, yeah they were Mr. Perfect in school, and everyone resented them, and they were so great, but in later life Mr. Perfect will have  made his mistakes. he will have screwed things up.
And now, with facebook, you can find the bastards.
